Heading home from NYC

We headed home on Thursday from NYC after a great vacation. We had a great time but are happy to be heading home.

Day Three in New York City

On our third day in New York City we had the chance to be in the studio audience for Live with Regis and Kelly. It was a great experience and we had a lot of fun!































We then headed to the Intrepid Air Craft Carrier Museum where we saw a lot of cool planes and interesting information about the Intrepid.

Day Two in New York City

On our second day in New York City we headed to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. While we didn't get to go into the crown we did get to go into the base and see the inside of the statue. We also got some great shots of the Manhatten skyline.





























































We then headed to Ground Zero to see where the World Trade Center towers used to be and the construction site for the new buildings.
















We then were able to get tickets to another Broadway show as well as tickets for a third show on Wednesday night!

Day One in New York City

Monday was our first day in New York City. We took the train into Grand Central Station and walked to our Hotel on Times Square.















We then headed to the Rockefeller Center to do the "Top of the Rock". We saw some spectacular views of New York City.













































After we left Rockefeller we headed to 5th Avenue and ate dinner at a theme restaurant called Mars 2112 and went to a musical on Broadway.

Heading to New York

Saturday we left Plymouth and headed over to New York to spend a few days. We stopped briefly at Mystic Connecticut to see some of the sights on the way. We arrived at some friends of ours who we are visiting with until we go into New York City on Monday.
