Today we drove back up the coast to see the spot that Captain Cook came ashore as well as checkout some of the coffee plantations. After that we just headed back home to cook out, snorkel with the sea turtles and were able to see a couple of very large eels. They have larger teeth than you would think!We then sat back and enjoyed yet another awesome sunset. It seems each one is more spectacular than the last! Tomorrow(Friday) we drive back to the Hilo side of the island and fly out early the next day to Maui. Hopefully we can continue blogging from there!

What awesome pictures! It always amazes me how no two sunsets look the same. How fun to see sea turtles and eels--although I do prefer them at a distance! We have been thinking of you and it was fun to check in on you on your blog. We just read in the Northwestern that Steven Speilberg, Harrison Ford, and George Lucas were on the big island do Raiders of the Lost Arc IV. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.
